Pitman that may have been born in Marion Co, TN in about 1830's. He is believed to have married Amanda Fry (possibly in Pulaski Co., KY). I believe he may be the father to a Charles S Pitman, born 1850 in Pulaksi Co, KY; who is my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. John C. Pitman's parents are possibly John Pitman (Pittman) born NC, and Nancy Brooks. Can anyone help me find the info on this John Pitman? Thank you!
