I do see John Cleveland in the 1880 cenus for Marion county. He is 4 yrs old. Father is Charlie and mother Sis. As for Alice Hannah Coffelt I think she may have been born after the 1880 census and of course died before the 1900 census. You'll be lucky to ever find anything on her. There is a cemetary off of Defur Rd which is off of RA Griffith Hwy going north from Ketner Mill Rd. The cemetary is behind a mobile home on the right by James Fulfer's property. If you have a 4-wheeler you can find many small gravesites in the ridges, unfortunately they are unmarked. Not sure about children, other than Malissie Jane Akins, that married my grandfarther, Mose E. Arledge, in 1898. If, anyone can help me with any information, it would be appreciated. Debbie: Just a suggestion, but you might want to look around in Grundy and Warren counties too. There are many Scott families in that area and you might find that they moved back and forth looking for work if they were in the logging business. My grandfather was from Marion Co. and my grandmother was from Grundy/Warren (right on the line near Collins River). Many of mine moved around like that looking for work.
