    3. Please send the picture of the home to Betty McBee. Her email address is listed near the bottom of this post. Pictures of the cemetery here: http://www.historicsouthpittsburgtn.org/Cemetery-Patton.html There is an old church there which the website above calls the Chapel on the Hill. I don't think that's the original name will have to look it up. The best bet for locating Sweedens/Sweetens cove is to look it up on Google maps. Try Sweetens cove - I couldn't get anything using Sweedens. 1. Re: [TNMARION] Cemetery Where is?
    2. The name of the Primitive Baptist Church is the same as the one in town at the Patton Annex. The one located in Sweetens Cove was started by Samuel McBee, if I remember correctly which also had other churches as well -- one being located in Sand Mountain Ga. On the web site is a picture I took of the one in Sweedens Cove. Which is near the old school . The minutes of the church are published in a book also I believe Jerre Hookey is in possession of the original minutes, or perhaps knows where they are located if not. They are very interesting to say the least. Notice I spelled it both ways above. At one time (1999) at the entrance of the cove one side of the street (road) it was spelled one way on a street sign and the other way on the other side of the street( road ) -- Not sure if it still is this way or not. In 1965 when you mailed a letter to some one that lived there you did spell it Swedens Cove. Hope that clears that up just a wee bit YES we would love to add the picture of the house . Please send it to me at macbetty2@peoplepc.com. As the list will not accept pictures or attachments. 3. Unless I'm mistaken on this, I believe the L.W. Rhodes you mention from the letter is Lawrence Wesley Rhodes -- Bill Mc mentioned him in his earlier e-mail. If that is the case, then "Papa" would refer to William W. Rhodes and he is buried in Patton (Annex) Cemetery in So. Pittsburg. I show W.W. Rhodes married Melvina Harris on Aug. 21, 1887 in Marion Co. by William O. Patton, Justice of Peace.
