Suzie I have been trying to send you messages for the past week but it all comes back. My server is trying to find the problem but is unsuccessful as of yet. Please send me you phone number so that I can call you. I have some great news that I want to share with. Thanks Maxine in Arizona
Have been researching Duncans, they first appear in Marion County about 1845. My great grand parents, James and Barbara's farm was bounded on the north by the Tennessee river and on the south by the Georgia and Alabama borders. They both passed on in May of 1887, either on the same day or with in ten days of each other. Would any one know if there was an epidemic of some kind at that time? Also found a barely legible document which lists their religion, but I can't make it out. It has two words. The first starts with a " C ", the second with a " P ". There is at least seven letters in each word and the last letter in each word extends below the line. A bit of a puzzle, any one with any ideas please e-mail me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Jim Duncan in Prescott Arizona

Does anyone on this list have a marriage for either a Lucinda or a Julia Ann (or Juliana) Foster in Marion County? It would have probably occurred before 1830. Thanks.
Help, Have traced my Marion county Duncans back to the 1850 census. After the 1880 census, with the exception of my grand father the Duncans are neither in Marion or Franklin counties. My grandfather William M. is in the 1900 Franklin county census. He is married to my grandmother Betty Kennedy, they have one son Buford. My father James William was born in 1905 in South Pittsburgh, in Marion county. Betty is remarried in 1910, and William is no where to be found. Does anyone know what happened to the following Duncans? The names and dates are from notes found in a history book given to my father James William when he was grown. Great grand Parents: James Duncan Born: 15 April 1838. Died: 16 May 1887 Barbara (Ladd) Duncan- Born: 4 May 1837.
