HARRELL (colored) May 10, 1856, Tn.-Oct. 8, 1921, Jackson. Henry Harrell. Amanda Harrell. Parsons, Tennessee. Tom Harrell is buried in the black cemetery in the Jeanette community north of Parsons. WILLIAM J. RUSHING (w) Oct. 16, 1851, Tn.-Mar. 16, 1922, CD 8. Levin Rushing, Ill. ___ Presson. Camden, Tennessee. I find it interesting that his father Levin is listed as born in Illinois, as other sources list him as born in Humphreys Co., TN. One of Levin's brothers lived in Williamson Co., Illinois. Levin's wife was Malinda Presson. BENJAMIN PITTS (w) May 23, 1859, Tn.-Feb. 26, 1922, Jackson. Benj. Pitts, Tn. Parson, Tennessee. He is not listed in the UDC cemetery book. Most common burial place for Pitts is the Hartley Cemetery in northeastern Deactur County. MARY L. RUSHING (w) Sept. 5, 1843, Tn.-July 7, 1923, CD 13. C. Giles, Tn. Miss Simmons, Tn. Cotton Grove. Mary Elizabeth Giles, wife of Abel Rushing. This Rushing family line is out of Humphreys and Benton counties. MARTHA PATE (colored) Died June 3, 1923, abt 70. Born Tn. Parsons, Tennessee. She probably is one of hundreds of unmarked burials at Clay Cemetery on Pentecost Street in Parsons. WESLEY BLANKENSHIP (w) Jan. 7, 1850, Tn.-June 11, 1924, CD 12. John Blankenship. Mahaly Derryberry. Bible Grove. He married Martha Ann Murren. David
