This is exciting! I've been searching this Anderson line forever! It is an enormous brick wall. I am related to HIRAM KING ANDERSON, b. SC moved to Davidson Co and then to Madison Co. His 1st wife was Susan Newsom and 2nd was my 3rd gr.grandmother, Susan Harrup. Hiram's Dad was WILLIAM ANDERSON who died in Davidson Co ca 1850. I believe he was from Botetourt Co VA and that is as far as I've been able to go. I find LOTS of Wm Andersons in every county I search, any year I look for! But never know which is mine. I know that WM ANDERSON llived in Botetourt Co when he enlisted in the Army or Militia to fight in the Rev. War in 1778. He was born ca 1761. Elizabeth Anderson, dau of Bartlett Anderson, may have been a sister or cousin of my WM. Do you have more on this line? I would be very interested in antything you have that might give me some leads into the Andersons in Botetourt Co VA.
