    1. Re: [TNMADISO] MULLINS
    2. I have in my ole' Hart documents and record keeping the Mullins name. It says on two seperate pieces of paper from a leather bound small notebook, the pages are facing one another. On the left side of the book 1869 Robert Mullins to one oxen $22.00 to 3 yd goods for pantes $1.00 to six yards of shirtses $1.81 to one par shouse $2.25 March the 20th 2 months 14 days **** (can't read) the 23 to 41 pounds of bacon $8.60 to bill of goods May the 24 $4.35 (then at the bottom is some adding and math calculating) On the opposing side Albert Mullins line commenced January the 4 1869 lost days IIIIIII 4055 (I have know idea what that all means???) note........... they had oxen back then in those days in Madison County!!!!!!!!!!........ news to me but I can scan and send to any one that wants to see...........it LOOKS like it says oxen!!!!!! note my ancestor must have sold LOTS of bacon next page says John S. York to 32 pounds of bacon 7.00 If I buy bacon in a three lb package it goes bad before we can eat it all!!!!!! Anyway, perhaps this can help to place a Mullins someone is looking for in the time frame of 1869. Diane
