    2. Jim: McCoy or Potts Chapel Cemetery as it is also referred, is not a black cemetery and I have never heard about freed slaves being buried there. There are some graves on the far left side of the cemetery that have small markers, but don't appear to have any names on them. I don't know if that could be related to your question about former slaves or not.
