Becky brought to my attention something that I wanted to say and I am sure others have encountered. My ancestors were HART. I have found them under Heart, Hart, and Hurt. No question about it, it was my family all right. I even had a family member see some signatures and think that they were spelling the name Heart. BUT I think they were making a looped curly cue on the tail of their H. You know, I think, they gathered around the table and decided let's make it hard for our future families to put our lives back together SO let's use lots of different names and spellings of the name and make it all confusing. I have yet to find an ancestor that used the SAME name throughout his or her life. Diane
