Hi Jim; - I may have some slight information on a Maria / Mariah Bowers whose married name was Flemming. She was widowed prior to 1846 in Madison County, (district 10) as she married for the second time to my gg grandfather, Benjamin Hayley on Nov. 25, 1846. She had three children by her first husband ________ Flemming and their names were Robert Flemming, Chloe Flemming, and Fanny Flemming. Fanny was the youngest and born in 1842. She was raised and sent to school with the Hayley children of Benjamins first marriage. This Hayley/Flemming family moved to Des Arc Arkansas, in 1851/1852. youngest Ray Hayley ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Shivers" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, January 10, 2002 2:56 AM Subject: [TNMADISO] Roll Call - NC migration to TN 1830 > Researching the migration patterns of Davidson/Hardeman/Shelby County > families and all points in between. > I want everyone to think hard and remember have they noticed these names on > any of the Madison County information.
