Samuel Naill Signed sealed and published in our presence and we have subscribed our names hereto in the presence of the testator this 8th day of December 1844 James G. Mays Pomfreth Hart I got this from the Tn. state Library and Archives which I sent for. All children mentioned in will. Wife had already died (1842) so I think this was a new will. The Pate boys mentioned must be grandchildren. I think Samuel had brothers and sisters by the amount of additional information that is out there. John Nail had a son Milliard Nail and there is an article in a book about him also that I have. Don't know if this will help any but we can only keep trying and digging. Will keep you posted.
