    1. Re: [TNMADISO] Page from the Hart journal
    2. Dear Diane: The Liberty Grove church is a good clue! A lot of folks w/ last names matching those in the Hart journal are buried at Liberty Grove. A few of them I listed below. These are ones I'm related to. I would venture to guess that the "sisters" referred to is a form of a title, such as "sister Anna" or "sister Jones" which was used in some churches in the old days. I'm guessing at this, but as most of the names on the list were names found at the Liberty Grove cemetery, it would be logical. Anyone else have an idea in regard to this? I know the Lucinda Shaw mentioned is Lucinda Shaw Johnson, wife of Merrit Johnson, "mother of Addie & James" listed below. Lucinda was born in 1836 and married Johnson in 1876, so she would have been a Shaw in 1865-69. It is a treasure that you have, and I appreciate you posting it to the list. I would love a CD , and would be glad to pay the costs for it. Email me off list re: it. [email protected] Thanks Diane!
