Thanks so much for the Boon information! The Billy Boon referred to in the letter is most likely William Boon, b 1845, d 1890, son of Calvin J Boon. William was my GGGrandfather. His niece Virginia married Harvey Hart. The Matthias Boon information fills in a hole for me. I have found information on this man but haven't found an exact relationship yet. My Boon line descends from the same NC-VA line, but we're not sure just how. However, I have copies of documents concerning Matthias' children. In one Enoch is referred to as Enoch Bryan, in the other as Enoch Bryant. Now I know how this man fits in with the Boons. The documents deal with his guardianship of Matthias' two sons.
