Settling in old Rowan in late 1700s My anc is a Nealty Northern b. 1815 est m. 1838 in Davidson to Thomas Cameron I believe there were several Northerns in that area and the clan seems to have split 3 ways my line somehow connected to Henry Clark Northern went to Schuyler and Brown Co IL 1838-44 another group went to Ark and yet another to Ky/TN all three groups in 1850 census show roots in Nc Henry Clark went to brown in 1838 as part of the Surrat-Briggs wagon train (2 actually) full of Davidson co residents Thew Brown Co genweb reads like a whos-who of Davidson Families If this is your Henry then almost certainly we are kin Let me know Thom Cameron
