I'll be on vacation for a month and a half phil
http://www.tngenweb.org/records/madison/ When I updated Antioch Cemetery, I worked on top of the 1989/1995 record of the cemetery which was in the vertical file in the Tennessee Room. I thought that this was Helen Johnson's work, and it was her typing. However, she only typed it. George and Wilma Nolen had recorded the cemetery. I have revised all three Antioch files to give George and Wilma Nolen proper credit. I have uploaded the index for Genealogical Miscellany II. That work is finally complete. Johnathan Smith, who should never be allowed around reduction copiers, had reduced the index very tiny to fit five columns on a page. I cound not scan the index and had difficulty reading it (which may be why I did not do it when I uploaded the first files from the work). The index is also fuzzy because of the multiple generations of xeroxing. I found it difficult to distinguish between fuzzy 6s and fuzzy 8s and some numbers I simply had to guess at. In two areas on one page (which are noted) I almost could not read the names either. I have added another 32 pages of Genealogical Miscellany III including the Swink and Dickins family files. I will finish the last 5 pages tomorrow. Laurel Baty and I are about to start the Riverside Scrapbook Part VIII. This will take care of another loose end. If anyone was looking at Jonathan Smith's Western Weekly Review (Williamson County) abstracts before they were moved, Laurel completed scanning them today and I will finish converting them to HTML and uploading then Monday. http://www.tngenweb.org/records/williamson/ David
http://www.tngenweb.org/records/madison/riverside/mrc7-01.htm The index and 13 pages of notes are now available from "My Riverside Cemetery Tombstone Inscription Scrapbook Part VII. I think it has been a over a year since we did the last one. I had forgotten how difficult it is to write the crosslinks between "Tombstone Inscriptions in Historic Riverside Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee" and the scrapbooks. David
