She was a Diggs; most of her family went to these schools and were in the Parkburg area. Does anyone have any records of these school from about 1930 to 1942? School pictures would especially be great. I would be most appreciative.
Malesus didn't cease being a high school until spring (May or June) of 1956. It continues to operate as an elementary school. Call Malesus School at 423-0634 and inquire about the old high school records and pictures. Or call the central office of the Jackson-Madison Co. School System at 664-2500 and ask about the old school records. ----- Original Message ----- From: <jhmatth12@aol.com> To: <TNMADISO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, June 19, 2004 12:03 PM Subject: [TNMADISO] Malesus School Records > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Diggs > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JgB.2ACE/1084 > > Message Board Post: > > My mother graduated from Malesus School, probably about 1941; she had also gone to Parkburg School near Pinson, Tn. in Madison County.
