Hello, I am inquiring if anyone in Madison County could possibly do a cemetery search for me. My great grandfather and his wife are buried somewhere in Madison County and I cannot find them. I live in NC. The Obitiuary stated that he was buried in Jackson. His name is James C. (Chandler) Morton. He was buried somewhere around November 6th or 7th in 1920. He died in Georgia and was transported there to be buried. His wife was Alice Whitt Morton and they had one son, James Aleus Morton. She was also buried with him some years later. Unfortunately I have been unable to find out which cemetery. From what I can gather, Alice was almost 100 when she died. She outlived him by many years.
