I am looking for information on Charles Anderson Sevier who was a Dentist in Jackson, Madison County in the 1930s. He is supposed to have had a photo of Nancy Russell, a relative of mine (according to the book, "Descendents of Captain Robert Sevier of Tennessee" by Mary Stoops, 1939) --I would dearly love a copy of this photo. Charles A. Sevier was born Aug. 13, 1870 and was living on Highland Ave in the 1930 Census. He was married to Ida Sutherlin and had two children: Jane Sutherlin Sevier who lived in Jackson c1960 (according to "Sevier Family History") and Charles Henry Sevier who lived in Kentucky c1939. I can't find listings for this family in the Madison County Cemetery books--does anyone have the Hollywood Cemetery book? The SSDI shows a Charles Sevier born Sept. 20, 1906 and died Oct. 1976 whose last address was Jackson, TN and also a Jane Sevier born May 12, 1902, died Jan 1984, Jackson, TN. These birth dates for Charles A. Sevier's children match the dates given in the Stoops book. Charles Henry Sevier had 3 children as of 1939: Charles Anderson, David M. and John Watt (again according to the Stoops book). Laurel Baty
