He was a descendant of Samuel Womble and Jane Tyson. I believe he was a related to John Womble, son of Samuel and Jane. I am also a descendant of Samuel Womble, through John's brother, Cornelius. Also, does anyone know of a Womble Clan National Reunion held in the 60's ? I have a letter dated 24 June, 1962, listing W. S.'s name and other Womble descendants. Thanks.
