http://www.tngenweb.org/madison/cemetery/vf-prov.htm I discovered that the copy of Providence Cemetery that is in the vertical files in the Tennessee room, which I scanned to make the web page, is very incomplete. The vertical file copy only includes about 40% of the cemetery. The cemetery has two gates. The vertical file/online copy has burials south of the southern of the two gates (the newest section of the cemetery) and about 1/3 of the burials in the area between the two gates. It has nothing of the area north of the north gate. I will add a note to the web page later tonight, and I will delete this file once I update the cemetery. A week of so ago I asked for suggestions for two cemeteries from the north and south cemetery books to update before the weather gets too warm. I have been asked to update Oakfiled Methodist, which I will do once I finish the fieldwork at Providence. David
