Died, Sep 1903, in Henderson Co., TN. Occupation: Farmer. James C. Bradford was granted 165 acres in Henderson County on Spencer Creek, range 3, section 9, on August 30, 1849. It is recorded in Book 16, p. 33. James C. Bradford was a Private in Company G, 16th Tennessee Cavalry, U.S. Army. He enlisted at Cotton Grove (Madison County) 13 July 1863. I had hoped that someone on this maillist would adopt Madison County. I had sort of hoped to have continued working with the new host. However, that is not to be. My intention was that when I left, I would leave all the files to TNGenWeb. The new County Coordinator will be moving Madison County to Rootsweb. I am moving all the cemeteries I recorded, everything with a copyright (Hanna, Smith, Griffith, Gen. Soc.), and a few other items I created to TNGenWeb Records. Several people have donated cemeteries, wills, deeds and other items to Madison County. Unless you ask me otherwise within the next day or so, these donated items will be included in the move to Rootsweb. I have enjoyed working with Madison County.
