Bailey Filed March 2, 1907 KNOW ALL MEN BY THE PRESENTS: That we, Peter Weis and Peter Lesh, partners under the firm name and style of Weis and Lesh of Jackson Tenn in consideation [sic] of $600.oo cash, paid by the grantee unto Barlett H. Bailey of Jackson, Tenn., the following descried ot of land in the Second ward of the city of Jackson Tenn., bounded as follows: On the north by the lot of A. B. Martin, formerly the Carunthers lot; South by the lot of Alex and Mary A. Brogan; East by Middle Avenue and West by an alley being the same lot conveyed to said Weis and Lesh by B. and Thes. Henderson by deed of ApPril 19 1893 registered in Deed Book 59 page 89 Register office and which let the said Weis and Lesh contractred to convey to John C. Coley about the time they purchased the same, but as to which no papers have been acknowledged or registered and upon which let the said John C. Coley has made payments from time to time to saif Weis and Lesh leaving a balance due them of this date of $358.75 and t! he said John C. Coley haveing an interest in said lot by reason of his payments on as ount [?], he and his wife Mary E. Coley join in this deed and convey to the said Barlett H. Bailey any and all interest that they may have in and to said lot by virtue of said payments and contract or by the homestead laws of Tennessee or otherwise, and the parties hereto convenant with the said Barlett H. Bailey that they are lawfully siezed of said lot of land; that they have a goodright to convey the same; that they same is unencumbered except for taxes for the current year of 1901 which are to be paid by said Barlett H. Bailey, his heirs and assigns. Of the consideration, $600.00 paid for this deed, the said Bailey has paud in cash to the order of said Weis and Lesh the sum of $358.75 and the balance, $241.25 he has paid each to the said John C.
