    1. Re: Henry & Sarah Baker ???
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Baker Pearcy? Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JgB.2ACE/1096.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: That family is causing me great confusion. Originally I thought that had to be my Henry and that the published death date I kept seeing was just incorrect but turns out to be a different Henry. William R is the father of Henry Clay Baker, not my Henry. To make things extra difficult my Henry T Baker is the same age as Henry Clay Baker and Henry Clay Baker married Sarah Ann Graves while my Henry married Sarah C. (Unknown). It wasn't until I found Henry Clay and Sarah Ann Baker's tombstones at http://www.tngenweb.org/madison/cemetery/bakers.htm that I realized Henry Clay Baker died after my Henry and Sarah Ann Baker died after my Sarah. So I started backtracking and found my Henry buried with his daughter Virgie in Taylor cemetery. There were two Henry & Sarah Baker families. I believe my Henry & Sarah are the H. and S. Baker in District 11 in 1870 living next to the A. Pearcy household. There is a Sarah Pearcy in Everett Pearcy household in 1860. I still can't find m! y Henry and Sarah in 1880 or whoever A. Pearcy is in 1860 or 1880. This is all very confusing so I was hoping to find someone who recoginzed my Henry & Sarah. Here's what I know for sure: Henry T. Baker b. 3/27/1845 d. 12/19/1907buried Taylor cemetery Madison Co, TN married Sarah C.? b. May 1854 d. Bet1910-1920 buried: unknown had 3 unknown children prior to 1900 + daughters Ida Baker b. Dec 1882, Tennessee Virginia ("Tennie") Baker [m. Stewart] b. 3/22/1889 d. Oct 1976 buried: Highland Cemetery Jackson, TN, Virginia Tennessee ("Virgie") Baker b. 3/22/1889 d. 10/27/1918 buried: Taylor Cemeter Madison Co, TN and Estella Baker b. Mar 1898 (as shown in 1900 census). Thanks so much for trying to help. Maybe this detail will help distinguish the two Henry's somehow.
