    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Cemetery Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/JgB.2ACE/1094.2 Message Board Post: In regard to a Brown Cemetery in Jackson, Wanda's link to Brown's (Methodist) Cemetery is the "white" answer. Here is a "black" answer. http://www.tngenweb.org/records/madison/blackcem/04-brchap.htm Brown's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery may actually be within the Jackson city limits. http://www.tngenweb.org/records/madison/blackcem/bcmc-21.htm Union Hill Cemetery belongs to Union Hill C.M.E. Church which was split off from Brown's Methodist Church about 1870. The overgrown Union Hill Cemetery was once part of Brown's Cemetery and but is now separated by a fence. If you read early 20th century death certificates, most burials at Union Hill Cemetery are listed as taking place at Brown's Cemetery.
