    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: FREEMAN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JgB.2ACE/1075.1.1.1 Message Board Post: John B. Freeman found in: Census Microfilm Records: Tennessee, 1900 Lived in: 17 District, Madison County, Tennessee Series: T623 Microfilm: 1586 Book: 2 Page: 367 When you look at the page it is difficult to see all of it. He is the last person listed on the page. It states that John was born in 1857 was 42 and married for 22 years. His occupation, place of birth and place of parent's birth was not visible. It appears that part of the document was destroyed at one time. On the next page of the census his wife and children appear. They are listed in the following order: Bettie E., wife, Oct. 1859, age 40, number of years married 3 (this was a bit confusing because in the married column it looks like an "M" and the number 22 was written), number of children 0, born in Tenn (same for her parents) cannot read or write, speaks English Rehebeaker A., daughter, Jan 1880, age 20 Lartha or Tartha D., daughter, Jan 1882, age 18 William J., son, Dec. 1883, age 16 can't read but middle initial is H., son, Sept, 1885, age 14 Robertt N., son, July 1889, age 10 John T., son, Mar. 1893, age 7 All children were born in Tenn. Their father was listed as being born in Masura or Mosura. All children can read, write and speak English. The oldest two sons are farm laborers and have been employed as such for 4 months. I hope this helps.
