Hello Listers: I believe there was a typo in a listing in the excerpts from the Jackson Gazette, No. 6, Vol. 1, July 3, 1824, found at the Tn GenWeb site, www.tngenweb.org/madison/records/gazette.htm . The excerpt reads, "Died yesterday at father's residence in this county of a pulmonary consumption Doctor WM. K. PENNER, in 28th year of age, late of N.C." I think the name PENNER might be Dr. William K.FENNER, who was the son of Dr. Richard FENNER, and the brother of ANNE McKINNEY FENNER HENDERSON, wife of THOMAS HENDERSON. I had ordered the microfilm of JKT SMith's “Reported Deaths in 19th cent. Jackson TN” and copied the data from it, and in the microfilm, this entry read FENNER. If someone has info re: the PENNER mentioned, I gladly welcome the correction. Nancy Noel
