    3. I am sorry about the delay in getting Providence Cemetery online. The past week has had relatively nice weather and I have been working to replace some of the Henderson County cemeteries lost in a 2002 server crash. I will finish typing Providence tomorrow and have it online by Monday morning. To reach the cemetery go to the westerm-most exit from I-40 in Madison Co. It is Providence Road and I think the exit number is 68. Drive north about 4 miles. David

    3. Bemis Methodist Church, Herron Grove Baptist, probably Bemis Church of Christ was there in 1936 too, and probably the Bemis Pentecostal Church. Of course, only the Bemis Methodist Church was the only one located within the Company town limits. Herron Grove Baptist (later to become First Baptist of Bemis), the Bemis Church of Christ Church, and the Bemis Pentecostal Church were located across the railroad tracks on private property. I'll keep checking.
