    3. http://www.tngenweb.org/records/henderson/misc/gm6-07.htm One thing I did not work on while CC of Madison Co. was Jonathan Smith's genealogical miscellanies for Henderson Co. I have been working on these some this past month. Jonathan asked me specifically to place his "Hefley Family Notes" article from volume VI online. This family was in Carroll, Crockett, Henderson, and Madison counties. Except for one difficult-to-read clipping, I uploaded the article last night. Henderson Co. genealogical miscellanies I-VI are now on the TNGenWeb server if anyone is like me and has firewall software which blocks access to their previous host server. Vol. VI is about half done. Vols I-V are mostly complete. David

    1. Need lookup, l880 Tn. census index. McAbee or McAfee, Madison Co.Tn.
    2. Can somebody do a lookup on the 1880 Tn. census index or soundex. I have checked on the Morman Church website for Betty McAbee, this could be McBee or McAfee. I have a hint that P J or PB was her father, but can't find either of them on the LDS site. Lucinda may have been her mother. I apologize for asking this, but I simply don't have any luck finding them on the Morman l880 census site. dale johnson

    3. I have checked HeritageQuest for 1860 Madison County and Marion County (they put many Madison County entries under Marion County). I have found only one possibility: Sarah Williams, daughter of J. H. Williams, born in TN, age 12. So she was born in 1848, not 1858. Any chance the 1858 is wrong? Let me know if you want any more information on this family. I'll check 1870 later. The list is records based rather than marker based and only provides birth and death years, but maybe someone will find it useful. David
