Hi List Members. My husband and I may be planning a trip to your area in the middle of March. The question on our minds is,,,,, what kind of weather would we be up against? I don't know if we could handle icy roads and snow or too much cold. TRhanks for your help. Nancy Brown

Before you perchase it, try going to Heritagequest.com. I rent my films and fische through there as it is only $3.25 per order! You'll have to become a member, and pay a $3.00 handling fee, but hey, it could be cheaper if they've got it filmed. Just a word... I was trying to locate my husbands brother who was born and died on the same day in 1965. The funeral homes, out of the kindness of their hearts, arrange all infant deaths for free. Unfortunately this means no records. Nancy: It is very rare that we get snow around here in March or anytime really. We had a small snow on Wednesday and its already gone. We traditionaly have a bit of rain, but mild temperatures in March. I would say the highs will be in the low 60's to low 70's and lows in the high 30's to high 40's. Thinking back on my son's spring breaks during the month of March over the years, we have had weather extremes from one end to the other and we did actually have a small snow one year. My suggestion is to come on because you sure don't want to wait for the humidity season! Let me know if I can help you, Wanda K. Wanda, where would I purchase a copy of Goodspeeds History of Madison county?
I doubled checked the listing and it does say book but your right it is a document. (I called the bookstore) Are there any books in publication for Madison County for the years 1832 to 1860 that you know of? Thanks...........Kathy
Are you sure it's a book or is it a document? - - Many sellers of old books aslo sell old documents. I've bought both. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, February 08, 2002 5:05 PM Subject: Re: [TNMADISO] Madison County, TN Book ? > Hello, > > Does anyone have a copy of the following book? Hello List: I spoke with Pam Dennis who is the Librarian at Lambuth University today concerning the Hollywood Cemetery book and update. She told me that the project has been underway for 3 to 4 months with volunteers gathering information from several different sources. This update will be from the year 1985 to the present. Anyone interested in purchasing the original Hollywood book, the North and South County Cemetery books, or Riverside Cemetery book may contact Lyda Kowalski, Government Documents Librarian at Lambuth University in Jackson at 731-425-3293. She has the books and can provide the prices for each. When the updated Hollywood Cemetery book is published and available, I asked Ms. Dennis to please announcement it to the list and she said that she would. Wanda

Do you know if Smith or Griffin handled the arrangements? I would only be guessing because I was only about 9 years old at the time and I dont remember, but I would lean towards Smith Funeral Home, I dont remember even having a funeral. thank you, Bobby
