    2. Becky: In the cemetery book he is listed in the East Section and on his marker is Jos J. Branch Co F. 7 Tenn Cav. (no dates) The names before him are: Felix Branch, Mattie Branch, Dorothy Branch, Ada Gilliam David Gilliam and after : Wylie Drummond, Josephine Drummond, Grace Walker and J. Walter Walker. Also check out David Donahue's layout of the cemetery. The Eastern section is in Section two. The link is: http://www.tngenweb.org/madison/cemetery/brown-c1.htm Hope this helps, Wanda At 08:56 PM 3/9/02 -0800, you wrote: >I know Joseph J. 3. David, On page 105 of the 1830 census there is a Kinchin Garlord. I am willing to bet that it is my 3rd great-grandfather Kinchen Garland. I know he was there because of tax records. Having done much research in madison county, I have never seen the name garlord. William Lynch, Jr.'s first child, John Thomas "Tom" Graves was born Sep. 1855, m. Rebecca Jane Baker in Jan. 1877, and dc. 1916. His second child, John H. Graves bc 1858/59 m. Irene Cole. I do not have a date of death. John H. and Irene had a son William, but I have no birth or death date. According to my notes, he lived in Jackson, Tn. and Dexter, Mo. and was reared by his Uncle "Tom" Graves. William Lynch, Jr. is said to have had a third son, Benjamin W. H. Graves and this son is thought to have died as a small child. Hope this helps. Kay 'Graves' Allgood

    3. As I said I was told Charles was son of Green but no proof. If I recall correctly the Christenberry name shows up in the Haltom line. Is it possible that Perry/Terry B. Russell's wife was a Haltom? Any suggestions of where Chrestenberry Russell and wife Jane Macon might be buried? His son Elijah resided in Tennesse and visited family in Texas in early 1900's. 2. Who are the parents of Charles Haltom. I have Haltoms, Simmons, and Macons in my line. I believe this Alexander Simmons is the son of Levi Simmons of Hardeman Co. Alexanders brother (Lemuel) married Amy Macon. Amy Macons father (Nathaniel Macon) married Mary Haltom. I believe there is a connection here somewhere. I also have a Robert William Cozort of Humboldt in my tree. Do you know of him? Thanks! Sheri

    3. I have been told Charles Haltom is the son of Green Haltom but no proof postive. Never have found a marriage record or census with him and Martha together. Charles (Son of Green Haltom) was said to have moved to Arkansas and married there so perhaps they were married only a very short time and that is why she is with her father in the 1860 census. Joshua Cozart (died Crockett Co., TN wife supposedly died 1855 in Madison County) has several children who married in Madison Co., TN. But I do not have a Robert William Cozart in my database. The Cozart line is one I have not worked on. -- Peggy <'}}}}>< Patriotic Tribute http://www.geocities.com/honnoll_honnell/WTC.html Honnoll http://www.geocities.com/honnoll_honnell/index.html Winton http://www.geocities.com/mawpeggy1946/index.html
