Hello to all researching in this area. I have just begun as my grandmother was reported to be born in Henderson County, TN. Now believe she was born in Hendersonville. My grandmother was Flora RAGLAND b. 1885. Her parents were William RAGLAND and Miranda SETTLES/SUTTLE. I have no info on William Ragland but assume he died between 1888 and 1894 as Miranda married William MORRELL in October 1894. I just found the marriage info from a Sumner County Marriage lookup which was a big help. From census info, I know that there were several RAGLAND's living in Macon County and others in this area. My grandmother Flora RAGLAND married a Unknown BROWN c. 1900-1905 who I have no info. Flora then married my grandfather William ROGERS of KY reportedly in Lewis County TN in 1905 but no marriage record was found in Lewis Co. In 1900 Flora was living with her mother Miranda, sister Rosie, and stepfather MORRELL in Maury County. If anyone has info on RAGLAND, SETTLE, SUTTLE, or MORRELL family, I would like to hear from you. By the way, these county pages are great, thanks to some hard work by dedicated people.
