Hi all: I am trying to find the family of Sanders Sisco, b. abt. 1843, m. to Emaline Carver, b. 1840, with children Martha, Alexander, Jane, Johnnie and Mary. They show up in the 1870 Jackson County Census, with these children and Emaline's brother, Alexander McNabb Carver, but then I lose them in 1880--not in Jackson, Macon or Putnam counties. Emaline and Sanders made a claim against her grandfather's (Cornelius Carver) estate in 1872, so I know they were in the area at least until that date. Emaline's brother, Benjamin Carver, moved to Newton County, AR in 1882 with his family, so its possible they will show up there in the 1900 census, but haven't checked it yet. Does anyone know where Emaline and Sanders Sisco went after 1870 or whether they or children are buried in Jackson County (I've checked Macon County Cemeteries, no luck)? Thanks for the help. Nancy
