Lankford back to 1734 Glad to share with anyone. I need help with my KNIGHT line. My GG grandmother was Rebecca (knight) Lankford. She married Sidney Lankford. Rebecca was born 1824. Sid was br.1823. They lived in the defeated creek area of Smith co. Looking for the date of death for both. I belive Rebecca had a sister named Mary O. I think their father was Thomas Latane Knight and their mother was Sarah Hill Dillehay. Sarah was Thomas's second wife, I think she is Rebecca and Mary's mother.
