About 1830 Claborn married a lady named Frances born ca 1815 in North Carolina as were her parents. Their children were: William born 1831, Sally 1833, Matthew 1835, John 1842, Thomas 1843, Broudes 1847, Polly 1851. Broad Jones married Betty Ann Delila Drury on 28 Feb 1869. Betty was the daughter of William Drury born 18 July 1813 died 1870/71 and Caroline Johnson born May 1820 died 25 June 1902. Betty and Broad Jones had six children: James Goldman Sellie, Thomas Alexander, William Martin, John Mitchell, Euriah Alvin, and Betty Katherine. John Mitchell Jones born 8 Feb 1884, died 6 May 1963 married 1st Leathie Simmons born 21 Oct 1876 died 4 March 1911. They had no children he married second Mazie Marsh and had five children: Woodroe married Eunice Jones, Walter, John Paul, J. M. married Gustine Wright and Mary Pearl. Claborn W. (Washington) Jones was supposed to have ran a ferry near Fort Blount at one time. He and Frances were members of New Harmony Baptist Church in Macon County in the 1870's. I can use all the help I can get on this Jones Family. I have two other sets of Jones's in my tree. One of them ties with this set Woodrow first wife Eunice was a Jones.
