In one of Cal Columns of 1953, he writes " Leathie Aquilla Hargis, born September 5, 1870, on Monday at 10: 30 P. M., married Dixon Dyer, and still lives at 825 N. Buffalo, Claburn, Texa" Leatha Aquilla Hargis, was a daughter of Jackson Washington and 2nd wife Louisa Matilda Jenkins Hargis. I have been unable to find this Dixon Dyer or Leatha in any census record past 1880. Is there anyone who can point me in the right direction? Thanks Sharon Tabor
