Shirley, Thank you so much for putting the info. on line about Martha Dillehay Smith. I have been searching a long time for this. Was Edmund, Joanah's Husband? My aunt has a picture of a woman named Asher. When I was a small child my grandmother showed me this picture. It is on tin and it was in with her pictures. She told me that she was connected to the family but she didn't know how. She might not be Joanah, But I am going to try to find out. Oh by the way I descend from Elizabeth Joanah Smith Thompson Sutton through her only son. Do you have any info. about her first husband John Thomas Thompson Sr. I can't find anthing except where they married and that he died in the Civil War. Ruth Kirby
