Tina, Thank you & please call me Shirley. W.C.*Wiley Clemons,(Doc)Gregory was my GGrandfather. He lived not far from the church and I can remember the house although it was torn down some years ago and a new one built. He died 1926 and he and his wife Amanda area buried in the McDonald Cemetery in Lafayette. Is there any mention of a John Gregory (W.C's father). His wife was Louisa(Eliza) and seems to be my hard one to find much info listed. I have census records on him from 1860 ,& he died 1895 & buried in the Billy Cothron cemetery. I have information from other researchers but not much can I prove for my self. I don't know where he was in 1850 and so many John Gregory's. Abel & Martha are listed in the Smith Co Cemetery book but it states their graves have been destroyed. Says it was located on E.Fork of Sloan Branch but I do not have any idea where that is. Thanks again, Shirley ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tina Short" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 23, 2002 10:10 PM Subject: Re: [TNMACON] Macon Co family > Mrs. Cothron, > The article about the church mentions a W.
