Ruth, you may already know this but in 1860 Joanah(Joan)and John were in Pulaski Co. Mo. There was also another child Louisa J. 3 but I noticed she is not on the 1870 census where Joan is listed in the household of Abel & Martha. Did Joan come back to Tn. after his death and did John fight in the war in Mo?
