Brenda: Go to: http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnmchs and look under items for sale. There you will find the Vol. II Cemetery Book for sale. In the 1840 Smith County census there is a Gideon and Joseph Gifford. They must have moved to Macon. You could check to see if anyone has the 1850-1860 Macon census. Otherwise, that book is available for purchase also. Brenda, There are a few Vol II Macon County Cemetery Books available from the Historical Society. They are $48.50 plus $3.50 p/h. When I say a few there are around 20 books available for sale. The Vol 1 Macon County Cemetery Books are sold out.
