Sheila: I wonder if they had a daughter named Edna P. who married a Cassie T. Jones. In 1920 Macon County, District 7, HN 82 it lists: Jones, Cassie T. Head, MW, 33 TN, Jones, Edna P. Wife, FW, 50, TN, Jones, Frank C. Son, MW, 12, TN, Jones, Herman H. Son, MW, 10, TN, Jones, William G., MW, 8, TN, Hood, William H. Head 2 (notice same HN), MW, 69, TN, and Hood, Lidda Wife, FW, 71, TN. There are a few Hood marriages listed in the Macon marriage book, if you are interested. And, there is a Mary Malinda Hood b. 4 Feb 1935 - d. 4 Feb 1935 d/o Burford and Lois Hood buried in the Roark Cemetery in Macon County, Vol. II Cemetery Book.
