    3. Ruth, you are welcome and yes, Edmund was the husband of Joanah. He was b. Oct. 12, 1767, d. Dec. 1, 1827 and they are buried in the Dillehay cemetery located top of a hill in the Brooks Hollow in Defeated Creek. That is very interesting about the picture. I have a picture sent to me from a nice person on the Smith Co site of Joanah Dillehay, granddaughter of Edmund & Joanah, through their son, Johnson/Johnston. Would be interesting to see if they look any thing alike.
