Yes the Green family seemed to show up from no where. I think I remember my mother in law talking about them coming in from Oklahoma. Where they were before then is anyones guess. Now, for the connection to that family. Ollie Bell Cothron, daughter of Lucy and James, was born 6/24/1898 and died 4/1/1952. She was the wife of Floyd Nelson Green, son of Sampson McClaron and Marietta Elizabeth Green. They married 12/4/1913. He was born 12/14/1898 in Jackson County and died 7/4/1956. Both he and his wife are buried at the Willow Grove Cemetery in Hartsville. Let me know if you think our two families cross somewhere. I have more info that I can help you out with. Jackie
