    1. [TNMACON] BARBEE HENDERSON NAPIER
    2. I am searching for John "Smith" Barbee born about 1838 in the Haysville area of Macon County. He was orphaned and reared by his grandparents (but I don't know whether they were the paternal or maternal grandparents). I believe that his parents were John Barbee and Polly. He married Loubina Henderson, daughter of Ira Henderson, a Baptist minister. Ira's wife was a Napier, but her name escapes me and I am traveling right now away from my data. Both the Hendersons and the Barbee's along with some Blankenship relations moved west in a 7 wagon train about 1877. The Hendersons and Blankenships lighted in Kansas and the Barbee's went on to Oklahoma. I sure would appreciate any clues about my orphan Barbee's parents or grandparents. Thanks, Janet Barbee For everything you ever wanted to know about Barbee's in the U.S. see http://members.aol.com/BarbeeJK/Crossroads.html
