The connection is thru Rhoda Cliburn, her mother Sary. Rhoda married Elias Atkerson in 1801 in Bedford County, Virginia. Sary was shown on the permission to marry as a resident of Franklin County. Elias and Rhoda migrated to Smith County, Tn about 1810-1811. The 1820 Smith County census shows a Daniel Cliborn family and a John Cliborn family. The 1800 Tax List for Franklin Co. Va. lists a Daniel Cliborn. I cannot tie Rhoda or Sary with either and am searching for information on them.
