Good evening Barbara, we also got a small amount of snow last night. I am in northern Tn. Just 3 miles south of Ky. My g-g grandfather John Thompson had a daughter named Louisa born 1857 and two others named Martha and Mary. I have not yet found his parents for sure. I did find a family in Mcminn Co. Tn. The father was John b. 1805, Johannah 1803, son John b.1829/1830, Then a Louisa, Martha, and Mary. A son named Washington. My John named his daughters Louisa, Martha, Mary his son John Jr. My grandfather and my fathers name was Washington. Do you think it would be possible for to different families to be named this way? Also living as close as Macon and Mcminn Co. Do you know any thing about this family in Mcminn Co. Thanks in advance for any help.
