Gaulden in Tennesse. She is buried a few blocks from my house here in Texas, but will not reveal any more of their backgrounds. Family tradition (rumor?) is that William's son James William Gaulden was related to the Indian Chief, Quanah Parker. They were at same place in Oklahoma at the same time. Some of the Gauldens were in Illinois for a while after the War Between the States before moving to Texas. My Gaulden and/or Hargis/Ellis people also married into the Coker, Seagraves, Gregory, and Gammon families - so I just know a lot of you are cousins ?times removed. Any information - especially connecting William R. and James William Gaulden to ancestors would be greatly appreciated!
