I would like to locate Gary Kemp who was living in Lafayette in 1982 when his father died. Gary is the son of Jurl C. Kemp ( 1930-1980), who was the son of Charlie Mendrum Kemp (abt 1901- 1991 Hartsville, Trousdale Co., TN), who was the son of Harvey Murphy Kemp (1880-1961) and Aldora Cartwright Kemp (1881-1948.) According to other sources, Gary is the father of Sherry Kemp who married Chad Randall Swindle 1998. Harvey and Dora's other children: Lola m Frank Gammon; Dodger m Martha Lou Gregory; Felix m Naomi Tuck; Overton or Olton; Edgie Ann m. Charlie G. Holleman; Willie Mae m. Curtis Lee Smith.; Herbert Coolidge m Wilda Neoma Gann . Aldora (Dora) Cartwright was the daughter of Charles Jefferson Cartwright and Sarah Jane Gregory and a sister to my grandmother, Cora Cartwright Russell.
