Hi. I am also a descendent of the Russell Family. I have William Edward Russell born: 6-17-1820 Tn. died 8-9-1886. Married to Amanda Austin born: 12-26-1818 Tn. died 5-16-1899. Son of John Russell and Martha Patsy Grenade. Their Children: Dicy, L. A., Miles, John, William, Elum S, James. I am a Direct descendent of William's brother, Thomas and Betsy Emily ? Their daughter Rhoda Jane who married William A. Evans. I have some more info. if anyone needs it. Hi Kenneth, I am a descendent of William Edward Russell and Amanada Austin. Son of John Russell And Martha Patsy Grenade. I have Elam Russell married to a Cornwell. Am I wrong or was he married more than once? I found Vesper in Macon Co. Tn in 1920 census he was 27 Bessie was 22, no children. Fred was living next door. Fred was 29 married to Eva 23, no children. They were living in 6/th District Macon Co. Red Boiling Springs. In 1930 Fred is 39 living at the same place but now his wife is named Shellie and she is 32. They have a daughter named Fredie Ruth 7 years old.
