Thanks Mary for checking the Macon Co. census. The info I have is that Jonas was born and reared in Macon Co. but at some point (I don't know when) moved to Smith Co. I have exhausted every avenue I know in Smith Co., and still find no info on Martha T. I have Bro. Cal's books; he gives more information on my branch of the Whitley family than I have found any place else. Still nothing on Martha T. I have the Smith Co. History book. Very little on our family. I have books from Smith and Trousdale Co's if you should need a look up.
