Cemetery Book, Vol. II, p. 13 shows that Henry Logan Sadler was born in 1828 and died in 1904. It shows that Lucy J. West Sadler, born 1831 and died in 1887. They may have died in Jackson Co. like Hoke Holland West says, but both of them are buried in the Sadler Cemetery, located at Oak Grove near Red Boiling Springs, Macon Co. TN. Either Hoke, or his proof reader, made a boo-boo on the age of Ezekiel Sadler, a mistake that Mur caught and is verified with the 1860 and 1870 Macon Co. census reports. His birth year appears to be 1852 not 1872. BTW: Mary Pryor. . .if you are listening, the above dates indicate that you were correct in guessing that Lucy Jane West had died and was not divorced when Henry Sadler remarried, however, there seems to be a disagreement on the name of his second wife. I've seen the name Amanda "Mandy" COONS, a time or two but the cemetery book mentioned above shows him buried between two women. . . .Lucy J. West SADLER and Amanda KRANTZ SADLER, born 1861. died 1931. The birth year fits the birth year given in the 1900 census for Macon Co. TN for Amanda COONS SADLER. The surname COONS was not part of the original census report but was added when MCHS printed their 1900 census book. Coons, Coonse, Coonts, Counts, Counce, Coontz, Kuntz, Koontz etc. There are some people that have this Henry Sadler on Rootsweb Worldconnect that list his second wife as Amanda Krantz and some have Amanda Kuntz and one even has Amanda Coons daughter of Richard Coons but they don't have anything else about Henry Sadler. I believe this will shed some more light on the subject. I copied the RBS Funeral Home Records and have them on cd. When I added anything to them I put it in [brackets] so all would recognize that. I got a lot of information from them.
